Terms of Service
Last updated: April 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Blackhole ("the Service"), operated by Blackhole Network, Inc., you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Blackhole provides a WireGuard-based mesh VPN. The core software is Apache 2.0. Hosted coordination services including the relay network and dashboard are governed by these terms.
3. Account Registration
You must register to access paid features. You are responsible for your account security and must provide accurate information.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service for illegal purposes, to transmit malware, to attack other systems, or to violate others' privacy. Network abuse will result in immediate termination.
5. Launch Mode, Pricing, and Payment
During launch mode, public CTAs may route to assisted intake, founder setup, hosted checkout, payment links, or invoice review before access is provisioned. Lower SaaS pricing may be offered after first-value proof or approved assisted onboarding. Pricing may change with 30 days notice for active subscriptions.
6. Founder-Led Setup and Support Boundaries
Assisted onboarding and implementation sprints include the stated setup call, onboarding checklist, bounded async support, first-value proof, and any written follow-up review included in the purchased offer. They do not include unlimited engineering, custom compliance certification, legal advice, tax advice, or unscoped integrations unless a separate signed statement of work says otherwise.
7. Refunds and Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription according to the billing portal or written cancellation instructions. For implementation sprints and assisted setup, cancellation is available before work begins. Refunds after work begins exclude completed discovery, setup, implementation labor, delivered artifacts, and third-party costs. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights where applicable.
8. Beta Limitations and Claims
Launch-mode and beta features may change, be incomplete, or require manual provisioning. Generated visuals are illustrative unless identified as real screenshots, demos, or customer proof. Public claims are tracked in the claim evidence ledger before promotion to broader self-serve readiness.
9. Intellectual Property
Core Blackhole software is Apache 2.0. Service branding and dashboard are proprietary. Open-source contributions are governed by the Apache 2.0 CLA.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
11. Termination
We may terminate accounts for ToS violations. You may cancel anytime. Data retained 30 days post-termination unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
